Information about institutional purchases
Thanks for your interest in using Skritter at your school! Below you will find all the information you need to make an informed choice about whether Skritter is right for your institution. If you have further questions, we ask that you use our regular contact form. We answer all email inquiries personally and promptly.
Critical information to know about Skritter licenses:
- Skritter is a yearly subscription license.
- Every student needs a separate Skritter account.
- Skritter allows teachers to assign lists and track progress.
Institutional Trial
We offer interested schools a one semester trial period free of charge. It doesn't matter if you have 10 students or 200, we will provide you and your students free access and support for the equivalent of 4 months for no charge and with no purchasing commitment.
Methods of Authentication
If your school purchases a license, we can either send you a batch of coupons that students can use to register on the site for free, or we can authenticate students with a school email address. Either way is equally easy for us, we offer the choice for your convenience.
Additional Textbooks
Skritter currently supports more than 141 textbooks, but if your institution uses a textbook we do not currently support we will upload it free of charge with any institutional sale. We do not offer additional textbook support for institutional trials.

Tiered Pricing
The price is based on the size of your program. Please remember that sharing Skritter accounts will not work. Skritter keeps track of each student's individual learning progress, and optimizes for that person. That means if students share accounts, Skritter will not function correctly and learning will be hampered.
- 1-30 Students: $300 per year
- 31-60 Students: $500 per year
- 60-150 Students: $800 per year
- 150-300 Students: $1,000 per year
- 300+ Students: $1,000 per year, plus $200 for every 100 students above 300
